Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Gemmi app, operated by Nayla Obeid, Hopstraat 63, 1000 Brussels, Belgium (“we”, “us”). By using Gemmi, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Gemmi on your Apple devices, subject to these terms and Apple’s App Store terms.

Your designs are yours

You own the designs you create in Gemmi. We claim no ownership of your work. You’re responsible for making sure your designs don’t infringe anyone else’s rights.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• break the law or infringe others’ rights using Gemmi;
• reverse-engineer, resell, or abuse the app or its features (for example, automated bulk requests);
• attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems.

Automated results

Some features generate results automatically — for example, reading a gemstone certificate you scan, or calculating cost estimates and quotes. These can be imperfect or inaccurate and are not professional, manufacturing, or gemological advice. Always review results and verify any figures before relying on them for production or pricing.

Subscriptions, free trial & billing

• Plans. Gemmi Pro is an auto-renewable subscription: €89 / month or €890 / year (prices may vary by region and are shown in the app in your local currency).
• Free trial. Eligible new subscribers get a 14-day free trial. Trial eligibility is per subscription group — if you’ve already used a trial for Gemmi Pro, you may not be eligible again.
• Auto-renewal. After any free trial, the paid subscription begins automatically and renews at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period or trial. Your Apple Account is charged on confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
• Managing & cancelling. Billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Disclaimers

Gemmi is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Gemmi.

Termination

You can stop using Gemmi at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.

Apple

The standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live, the courts of Brussels, Belgium have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll revise the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
